Jenison is located in Ottawa County Michigan, was established in 1840 and became a charter township (Georgetown Township) in 1965.  As of the 2000 census Jenison had a population of 17,211 with 5,975 households.

Jenison Public Schools:  The school system earned local, state and national recognition as one the "Premier School Districts in Michigan."  Jenison Public Schools offers outstanding instructional and extracurricular programs and has also been identified as one of the "100 Best Communities" in the nation for education in music.

Jenison Youth Activities are available through American Youth Soccer, Georgetown Little League, and Ice Hockey.
